1979 - CTW is established in August of 1979 as a manufacturer of aluminum windows and doors In Canada.



1984 - CTW begins designing and manufacturing a line of standard Vinyl Windows.

1986 – CTW open office in California and expands Canadian office

1987 – As sales grow rapidly, Magic Window Innovations develops a distribution network to reach and serve more customers across North America.

1988 – CTW introduces Tilt N Slide technology, it was the first patented and award winning hardware system that CTW ever produced.

1989 – With the success of Tilt N Slide technology, CTW creates an engineering division to lead the industry in research and development



1990 – CTW establishes Magic Windows to lead the window replacement market.

1991 – Magic Window wins the Crystal Achievement Award in Gold Achievement for Product Design and Manufacturing for Tilt n Side Technology.

1992 – Magic Window conducts its first of many consumer focus groups to help identify desirable window features.

1995 – Magic Window introduces the first Parallex Hardware and Slide N Hide Retractable Insect Screen prototypes.

1996 – The Thermosonic product line featuring Parallex Hardware and the Slide N' Retractable Insect Screen launches in the U.S. and Canada.

1999 – Magic Window wins two Crystal Achievement Awards as The Most Innovative Medium Sized Window and Door Manufacturer and for the Slide n Hide Insect Screen as the Most Innovative Window Component.



2001 – The Slide N Hide Insect screen is re-engineered with a cartridge design which makes it, among other things, the first removable retractable insect screen in the industry.

2002 – The Chamber of Commerce awards Magic Window with the Exporter of the Year Award.

2003 – Magic Window wins Chamber of Commerce Exporter of the Year Award for second straight year.

2003 – Magic Window win its fourth Crystal Achievement Award for the Most Innovative Door Component with the Slide N' Hide Retractable Insect Screen for patio doors.

2006 – Magic Window Introduces Energy Blind Prototypes and begins field testing.

2008 – Magic Window releases the Dynamic Series as the world's most energy efficient window.

2010 – Magic Window's Energy Blinds become the first and only Energy Star certified window coverings.

2011 – Magic Window becomes Magic Window Innovations and unveils new logo.
